How did Carlisle Cullen become a vampire?Twilight Saga?
How and when did Carlisle become a vampire? I read all the books and I am pretty sure that Stephenie Meyer didnt mention it in the books, but maybe someone out there who is Twilight obsessed like me has the answer?.. Thanks D

Basically, Carlisle grew up in London in the s. His respected father was an avid vampirewitchwerewolf hunter, and the rest of the townsfolk would help him on his mythologicalcreature hunts. He burned a lot of innocents, though. When he got older, he turned the tyrants over to his bright and obediant son, Carlisle. Carlise was a smart young man, years old he waited and eventually found a real coven of vampires hiding in the sewers. So he gathered up the townspeople and they all banded together with their pitchforks and torches Edward sneers at this part while hes telling the story to Bella and began the hunt. They waited outside the sewers, and eventually some come out. The vampires are so weak with hunger that instead of running, he turns and attacks Carlisle and his vigilantees. The lead vampire attacks Carlise first, but then ignores him and eats a few other members of the mob. Carlisle is left bleeding in the streets. Despite the searing pain of the venom, he crawls away and hides in a cellar, under rotting potatoes for three days. He kept quiet. When it was over, and he realized what he had become, he was appalled. He tried to kill himself not an easy thing to do, being a newborn. He threw himself off tall heights, he tried to stab himself... but then he gave up. During all this, though, he never attacked a human. He didnt want to be a monster. But then, one night, so very weak and halfcrazed with thirst, a group of deer wandered by where he was hiding. He attacked them, and found his thrist gone and his strength returned. He realized animal blood worked as well as human blood. He found solace in this, and then really began his vampire life, finding comforts in being a doctor, so he could help people instead of hurting them.brNone of the Cullens ever wanted to be monsters.brHope I helped brOh later, he got lonely, so he created Edward after finding him dying in a hospital ward in Chicago. Next he created Esme, and then Rosalie, and then Rosalie asked him to make Emmett, then Alice and Jasper found them. An unconventional, happy family was born. D
